As part of the program that the Center activates to deepen Jewish identity, students go on a fascinating journey to the United States. There, amid the vast array of “attractions” and activities, they are hosted by Jewish families and experience an authentic, traditional, family oriented Shabbatot – for many of them, it is the first time in their lives that they have had such an experience. This program for intensifying Jewish identity arranges trips to Poland, also. There, the students have a “hands-on” taste of the rich Jewish history and the glorious past of the Jewish people in Europe. In Israel, as well, exciting tours are made to different sites underscoring our heritage, such as the Old City of Jerusalem and the Western Wall.
