In the wake of the welcomed growth of the community, the Jewish Center at Kaunas has to enlarge its size. The Jewish Center is currently negotiating purchase of a permanent structure and has some plans to establish a large synagogue that will answer the needs of the community.
Plans for the new Center are being made by Mr. Arthur Spector and his daughter, Yael, both of whom are among the most respected architects in Israel.
