The Jewish Center is meticulous in keeping a continuous contact with government agencies in the State of Israel. So, the Center is also careful to have regular contact with the Israel Ambassador to Lithuania. Every few months, the ambassador comes to the Center and meets the staff and the students. At each such visit, a kind of “panel” is held between the Ambassador and the students, in which the students submit their requests and complaints to the ambassador. The ambassador listens to what they have to say and promises to take care of things and to give them his complete attention. For each Israeli student who is studying abroad, who is, himself a kind of ambassador of the State of Israel, each such visit acts as another tie to the nation of Israel.
